This season, from December 5-9, we hosted a Montreal Startup Food Drive to support two local shelters, Sun Youth and Welcome Hall Mission. Startups from across Montreal came together and joined in, hoping to support families less fortunate than ourselves this winter. We were overwhelmed with the response from local startups, with participants including: Notman House, Breather, FCP Studio, District 3 Innovation Center, Shopify, Lightspeed, Seedlify, Local Logic, and others.
Startups, because of your kindness, Payment Rails with generous help from Epanneur, was able to drop off 4 van loads of food & winter clothing items that were collected! We want to extend a massive THANK YOU for helping us make a difference in the local community that we’re all a part of.
As for the friendly competition, it was very close, however congratulations must go to Shopify’s Montreal office for collecting the most items! Awesome job! We look forward to the challenge again next December.
