Payment Rails Welcomes David Koblas as VP Engineering

Payment Rails expands team with key hire of VP Engineering following successful beta launch.

This week, we’re excited to announce and welcome our new Vice President of Engineering, David Koblas.  Joining us in advance of the public launch, David will oversee the engineering team as the company continues its mission to build the world’s most powerful Payout API.

“David shares our passion for building developer friendly and easy to integrate APIs,” said Tim Nixon, CEO and Co-founder of Payment Rails. “He brings with him a deep knowledge of web development and building great tech teams. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Payment Rails team.”

David most recently was the VP Engineering at Tubular Labs in Mountain View, Silicon Valley. He has previously led software development teams at Yahoo, Adobe Systems, and Silicon Graphics. With over 20 years of experience in software development and development team management, David brings a wealth of technical expertise to the Payment Rails team.

“I am very excited to be joining the Payment Rails team here in Canada,” said Koblas. “I was drawn by the clear vision and passion that Tim and the Payment Rails team have for fixing global business payments. I look forward to working with the talented development team already assembled, and to help take the platform to the next level.”

Welcome to the Payment Rails team, David!
