Work Better, Not Harder

For the past year, the Payment Rails team has been hard at work building what we believe (and soon you will to) is next generation global payment infrastructure needed to keep up with you in this world and one day on Mars.

Now, after working closely with businesses to create an easy user-experience product that meets their growing global needs, we’re excited to share Payment Rails with you all.

The Need & Our Mission

Small business is big in Canada. 98.2% of all businesses have fewer than 100 employees. When you add in medium-sized businesses the percentage rises to 99.8%. (Business Development Canada) Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are the engine of the economy and their success is vital to Canada’s prosperity.

Research shows that SMEs stand to make significant savings by circumventing their banks. Canada is good at starting companies, but not good at nurturing them. Currently, the Bank of Canada is urging banks in Canada to set up a national SME growth fund. While the progress is positive, this initiative isn’t enough.

Payment Rails’ mission to help SMEs across Canada grow internationally starts with saving them capital and time by offering low costs across the board and an easy user-experience that they can trust.
