Trolley Selected as Finalist at The Payments Canada Summit 2017

The Payments Canada Summit is again hosting its 2nd Annual Fintech Cup between Canada’s most innovative Fintech and AI startups. The pitch competition is intended to foster innovation and talent in the payments ecosystem and drive awareness and funding for the finalists.

This year, Payment Rails (Trolley as of December 2021) is proud to announce that we have been selected as a finalist and will be moving on to the next round to pitch at the Summit located at Toronto’s Westin Harbour Castle. The pitch competition consists of ten finalists who will all pitch their startup on May 25th at the summit in front of a select group of esteemed judges.

The Fintech Cup is a strong collaboration between Payments Canada, 500 Startups, The Digital Finance Institute and sponsored by Paysafe and CIBC. Trolley wants to thank all the partners and sponsors for making the FinTech Cup a tradition every year in Canada.

“The Fintech Cup provides an opportunity for startups in the Canadian Fintech and AI hub to create awareness and bolster the importance and necessity for new and emerging technology and infrastructure in the payment industry. Our team is honoured and excited to be taking part in it this year,” said Tim Nixon, Co-founder and Chief Execute Officer of Payment Rails.
